Jambalaya Noodles

Ingredients

  • 200 g noodles (egg noodles or spaghetti work well)

  • 1 tbsp oil or butter

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 1 bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tomato, chopped (or ½ cup canned tomatoes)

  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp dried oregano or thyme

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp ketchup (optional, for richness)

  • Spring onions or parsley for garnish

Method

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat oil in a pan. Sauté onion and bell pepper until soft.

  3. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

  4. Stir in tomatoes, Cajun seasoning, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.

  5. Add soy sauce and ketchup; cook until slightly saucy.

  6. Toss in noodles and mix well until evenly coated.

  7. Garnish and keep warm.

Cajun BBQ Wings

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken wings

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1½ tsp Cajun seasoning

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Salt to taste

  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (or use an air fryer).

  2. Toss wings with oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Bake for 35–40 minutes (or air-fry 20–25 minutes), turning once.

  4. Brush wings with BBQ sauce and bake 5 more minutes until sticky and glazed.
