Ingredients
For the Meat Sauce:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1/2 lb (225g) Italian sausage (or use all beef if preferred)
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (24 oz) jar of marinara or pasta sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Cheese Layer (the “million dollar” magic):
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 large egg
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
For Layering:
9–12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained (or use oven-ready noodles)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Chopped parsley (for garnish)
🔥 How to Make Million Dollar Lasagna
1️⃣ Make the Meat Sauce:
In a large skillet, cook ground beef, sausage, and onion over medium heat until browned.
Drain excess fat. Add garlic, tomato paste, marinara sauce, and Italian seasoning.
Simmer on low for 10–15 minutes, then set aside.
2️⃣ Make the Creamy Cheese Layer:
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, ricotta (or cottage cheese), sour cream, egg, Parmesan, and seasoning until smooth.
3️⃣ Layer the Lasagna:
In a 9x13 baking dish:

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce.
