Buttery Smash Lobster Rolls! Experience pure indulgence with this recipe

Indulge in rich, buttery perfection with these Smash Lobster Rolls! Toasted brioche buns loaded with warm, juicy lobster tossed in garlic butter are simple, luxurious, and ready in minutes—a coastal classic made even better!

 Ingredients:

1/2 lb (225g) cooked lobster meat (claw & tail preferred), chopped
2 top-split brioche hot dog buns (or soft rolls)
3 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, for creaminess)
1 tsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Chopped chives or parsley (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (to serve)

🔥 How to Make Buttery Smash Lobster Rolls:

Step 1: Warm the Lobster

  1. In a small pan over medium-low heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter.

  2. Add the chopped lobster meat, a dash of garlic powder, and a squeeze of lemon juice.

  3. Gently stir for 2–3 minutes until the lobster is warmed and buttery.
(Optional: Mix in 1 tbsp mayo off-heat if you want it creamier.)

Step 2: Toast the Buns (Smash Style!)

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  2. Butter the outside of your split-top buns with the remaining 1 tbsp butter.

  3. Smash the buns flat slightly with a spatula to increase the toasty surface area.

  4. Toast for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crisp.

Step 3: Assemble the Rolls

  1. Open up the buttery, toasted buns.

  2. Load them up generously with warm lobster meat.

  3. Sprinkle with chopped chives or parsley for color and freshness.

  4. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

😋 Tips for the Ultimate Lobster Rolls:

Use fresh or flash-frozen lobster meat for the best flavor.
Don't overcook the lobster when warming — just gently heat!
Brioche or potato rolls add that perfect soft-inside, crispy-outside texture.
Add a dash of Old Bay seasoning if you like a little zing.

Serve with:

Crispy fries or kettle chips
A light side salad
A cold glass of lemonade or white wine
