Ingredients:
1 cup beef strips (sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced)
1 cup broccoli florets
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, for deeper flavor)
1 tsp cornstarch (to thicken sauce)
1 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp ginger, minced (optional)
½ tsp red pepper flakes (for a spicy kick)
1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix beef strips with 1 tbsp soy sauce & cornstarch. Let it marinate for 5 minutes—this helps keep it tender.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed.
Toss in broccoli and sauté for 2 minutes. Add 2 tbsp water, cover, and steam for another 2 minutes until just tender.
Add garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to the pan. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the remaining soy sauce & oyster sauce, stirring to coat everything.
Return the cooked beef to the pan, mixing well with the sauce and broccoli.
Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
Garnish with sesame seeds and serve over hot rice or noodles.
🔥 Pro Tip: For extra flavor, add a splash of hoisin sauce or honey for sweetness!
Enjoy your homemade Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry—fresh, delicious, and better than takeout!
