Butter Chicken

A creamy and flavorful Indian curry with a rich tomato-based sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken (boneless, cut into pieces)
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, and salt for 1 hour.
  2. Heat butter in a pan, and cook chicken until golden.
  3. Add tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in cream and garam masala, and cook for 5 more minutes.
  5. Serve with naan or rice.
