Butter Chicken
A creamy and flavorful Indian curry with a rich tomato-based sauce.
- 500g chicken (boneless, cut into pieces)
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup tomato puree
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, and salt for 1 hour.
- Heat butter in a pan, and cook chicken until golden.
- Add tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in cream and garam masala, and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Serve with naan or rice.
